To perpetuate the sham that I maintain this journal:

The new chapter of my life is underway. I am studying to learn how to make video games, but in addition to my schooling I must be vigilant and play games with a critical eye, especially because I want to design games, so learning what separates a fun game from a not-so-fun game is critical. I spent most of yesterday playing Mega Man ZX Advent rather than doing my homework. What makes it fun? For me, probably the same gameplay that I fell in love with way back with Mega Man X. Unfortunately, I'm currently taking courses at my local community college. While I understand that this is a fairly good community college, it still doesn't hold a candle to my four-year university in terms of faculty quality, although the physical facilities seem quite good.

And now my dog is sitting on my Game Cube.
